That's part of the problem. Washington outsiders....like me..are developing a distrust of Washington insiders. I don't see why there would be a problem with hiring two or three private citizens for the commission. I'm not saying that those who serve on the commission aren't "the people" but that there are people outside of Washington capable of doing the job.

Jamie Gorelick, for one, certainly could have been replaced.

Why would there be two reports if there is only one commission?
