I did not know that. I have never seen anything where Intel flat out denied the possibility of a cash distribution without the promise of giving the matter consideration.

This would indicate a possible violation of current tax law.

But, in the greater glory of mankind, the change in the tax law, should encourage all companies to start larger distributions as beneficial way to return shareholder investment profits.

This is a very meaningful change in the tax law and I hope Kerry or any faction doesn't try to change it based on some misdirected social policy.
