Whether he said it or not there had been no confirmation of an attack. No one even knew who was culpable.

Those are not my words...they are attributed to Andrew Card when he came into the classroom and whispered to Bush....

How right you are JF although I don't think we can put to much faith in Card's ability to remember exactly what happened. Here is how he described it soon after 9/11.
______________

An account of the events in Booker Elementary School
on 9-11 by White House Chief of Staff Andrew Card

So I was very uncomfortable about interrupting the president during one of his events ... so I wanted to think, how can I convey to the president the situation? And I made a conscious decision to state the facts and to offer editorial comment. And the facts, as I knew them, were -- since he knew about the first plane, I said, "a second plane hit the second tower." Those were the facts. And the editorial comment was, "America is under attack."

I said those things into the president's right ear, and I stepped back, because I did not want to invite a discussion from the classroom. But I tried to be succinct in what I told him so that he understood the enormity of the problem. He looked up -- it was only a matter of seconds, but it seemed like minutes -- and I thought that he was outstanding in his ability not to scare either the American people that were paying attention to the cameras or, more importantly, the students that were in the classroom.

And he just excused himself very politely to the teacher and to the students, and he left.

Andy Card states in this recollection of 9/11 that he whispered to Bush "A second plane hit the second tower. America is under attack". There's just one problem with this - the video of Bush at Booker Elementary shows Card delivering this message in roughly two seconds.
Here's an mp3 audio demonstration of how quickly Card would deliver his message to Bush. It is impossible to whisper at this speed - try it.

What message did Card really give to Bush, and why have both he and Bush found the need to lie about the contents of the message?

You are really having "issues" with this one topic..

You went and saw a "movie."
The director edited same to put forth his viewpoint.

In "real" life 7 minutes flies by.

I imagine, in that theatre, it seems pretty long.

Do you remember that morning?
I will never forget the first radio announcement, "A small plane has crashed into the World Trade Center in NY."
A small plane............it was a frickin 747 or 757.

Initial reports was that it was a small piper cub!

But it all boils down to this. You HATE George Bush. You will not change your viewpoint, no matter how many times JP explains to you what a great leader President Bush was during 9-11.

I'm not interested in a back and forth on this...........I won't change your hatred, and you won't change my admiration for Bush during 9-11.
