"Double-standard here?"

Amy, Amy, Amy. You are trying to use logic here, where it clearly doesn't apply. THK has been labeled as "insane" and "supporting radicals" by the Fox News/Dittohead/Drudge Report crowd, so go with the flow. They are the brightest and best informed. Just ask them...

It's funny, but I don't recall you saying Bush was crass when he said "it is un-American" back in 2002. Double-standard here?

I don't find it to be crass. For a prospective first lady to tell a reporter to "shove it" is not a big deal, but is it really the kind of person you want as first lady?

She's tried to turn it into something positive. What it really was was an arrogant act. We are, after all, dealing with an aristocracy. The dems are going to try and elect a billionaire and 50-millionaire under the guise of their concern for the "little guy".

All I can say is, "What a bunch of damned fools"...

No double standard.

She said "unAmerican" in a speech and when a reporter asked her about it and she got pissed when the reporter exposed her on her denial.

Another example of an elitist mindset.......

Amy, It doesn't matter if she is Rep or Dem, the fact of the matter is people would like to see someone that speaks their mind, even if it occasionally is erroneously so and even if there is a difference in opinion, rather than politely demurring. This country is ready for someone intelligent.

We've had two pretty sharp and plain-spoken guys in office for four years. Why give Teresa Heinz Kerry the benefit of the doubt that Bush and Cheney hardly ever got?
