There is part of that that I agree with. A president inherits an economic context.

But to me it's an interesting statistic that since 1980 republicans grew the debt more than they grew the economy, and the only democrat president managed to grow the economy more than he grew the debt.

Last time I saw Welch get interviewed he was crying like a baby because there might be a slimy tort lawyer a heartbeat away.
