Let's hear more about the rich Democrats abusing the poor, downtrodden Republicans! I can only say this. Kerry is married to one of the 500 or so wealthiest people in the world. You have to be an idiot to think he gives a damn about you. If he didn't care about people, why did he bother to volunteer for a tour of Vietnam? After all, he could have joined a Air Nat. Guard unit and avoided the whole mess. If he didn't care about people, why did he fight to stop the war in which he just fought? After all, he could have turned into a party animal.......did coke, weed, some alcohol....had fun. If he didn't care about people, why has he dedicated life to public service.......why not play around, manage a ball club, dabble in oil etc.? I know its hard for you to look beyond the elephant and the donkey but if you did, you would realize there is a world of difference between Kerry and Bush......one seemingly cares about the people; the other lives off the fat of the land. There's a reason why Bush can't talk well and seems mostly uninformed.

So let's see, your argument is that rich folks by definition care only about themselves. Translated to action, they would probably cut taxes for themselves, while passing the tax burden on to the "lower classes". They would probably destroy unions, so that their corporate profit would be higher. They would probably support tax law that made it profitable to ship low and middle paying jobs overseas, where they are cheaper. DR, you may be on to something here. Bush said his core is the have's and the have mores. But how come Kerry is a Democrat? John
