You are certainly right here. Looks to me like this is the start of the rally that will correct the 30 months decline... gold will have a tough time until this is over later this fall.

your caution to be careful is well taken, but I think there is a high probability that the dollar will now reverse. It is at the top of the down channell and on my telecharts at or near a lot of resistance. Yesterday was a deadly candle.

I don't trade the dollar, but my best guess is down from here.
