It's funny you should mention that. Did you notice how the press has stopped covering Iraq to the extent that they used to cover it?

Yes I noticed that Iraq is off the front burner even though the soldiers are dying at the same pace. In fact the total number of US soldiers who lost their lives in July was some 2 more than those who lost their lives in June before the handover. I picked this up from the British press.

Also, the Kobe Bryant and the Scott Peterson case has fallen off in the press.
