The controlled demolitions of the towers is still the biggest smoking gun as far as 9/11 is concerned. The body of evidence is 100% conclusive and in anything resembling a real investigation, or trial, would be proved beyond any doubt. The photographic evidence of explosive charges being detonated in sequence would be enough to make the case, and the hundreds of eye witness accounts of bombs going off, plus the seismic spikes showing the foundations being shattered at the beginning of each collapse, puts it in the beyond doubt category. Not to mention the "pancake" theory is blown completely out of the water simply by watching the progress of the collapses. The top 30 floors of the first tower had been totally demolished before the collapse sequence of the lower floors began. It didn't "pancake". The lower 80 floors absorbed the entire force of the top third of the building being turned to powder and didn't collapse until after that energy had been exhausted. It also explains why the first tower took approximately 2 seconds longer to fall. There were actually two demolition sequences; the first took out the top third, and the second was initiated after the top was destroyed. The acceleration of gravity was stopped and restarted. Circumstancial evidence such as FEMA showing up the night before the show, CEOs being invited to be elsewhere for a conference on a military base, the attacks taking place before most occupants reported for work, Israelis moving out of their offices a week earlier, and the fancy foot work to destroy the evidence, are just icing on the cake.
