It comes down to a matter of influence -- a matter of when is there undue foreign influence. In my opinion, Israel has far too much influence in Washington. If this is so, would you agree that it is not merely a matter of avoiding undue influence from "hostile" governments, but is also a matter of avoiding being used by foreign governments to achieve their ends at our expense? You cannot answer this without acknowledging any agreement about the specific case of Israel.
