This is the offending line: You seem to me to be rather coarse and unempathetic, so I would not be surprised if you hurt other people willy-nilly, if you thought you could get away with it. It is that last slam which is indisputably "fighting words". I do not mean to make a final determination of the long term interplay, or to adjudicate blame. I merely acknowledge that had I read the post to the end, I would not have jumped in, and should not have jumped in.
