RE: Kerry's speech - thanks for posting Ron! I loved the speech last night. I think he hit a home run. He hit all the major points that he needed to. I had taken to really being almost in despair at the state of this country under Bush - and felt invigorated last night after the Kerry speech. He can't do everything, but he can make a real difference on many issues that are important to us all. I urge you all here to get out and donate, campaign, and work to elect Kerry in November. I believe this is much more important than any election in the last 50 years. We need a real, positive change, and someone that will work for everyone in the US. Thanks, Matt

The inability to differentiate the nuances and meanings is a trick Rush Limbaugh applies everyday... For example: We all all know how Bush implicates God in everything.He talks to him and in fact has been quoted as saying God supported him in his decision to invade Iraq. Last night Kerry used the word God. However, in different context from the way Bush does, yet the first radio station that I turned on after 11 pm was drawing a parallel between Bush and Kerry. His premise was that is's wrong for Bush to use the word God...but Kerry used that name...and he gave the number of times that Kerry had said the word.... Had I not heard the speech. Had I not been informed as some of these posts on the boards are able to do I would have believed this talk show host and thought that it was an unfair criticism of the president.
