I wish I shared your optimism .....

..... regarding this election. It's the most important election of our lifetime.

I admire the Democrats for putting up Kerry. He is very liberal and from Massachusetts. I seriously never thought the Democrats would do that again after the 1988 election.

I opposed Kerry's nomination early on because I didn't think a victory by him in November could be achieved. I'm glad now that the Democrats have gone out on the limb and nominated the best man. He has a respectibility to him that people are going to recognize.

This is going to be interesting.
