Amy, On another note, even for well-intentioned families, what if their focus doesn't match what our American society needs? I wonder who gets to decide just what American society needs. Seems like for a long time, the Democrats were defining exactly what they thought African-Americans needed, until Bill Cosby set them straight. And of course, Cosby is one of Africa-America's biggest philanthropists. If women controlled 50% of the world's capital (rather than only 2%), we'd see a very, very different world. Sure, and if China controlled 1/6 of the world's capital (rather than a small fraction of America's wealth), we'd probably see a very, very different world as well. What's your point? Tenchusatsu
