ha. This is a great challenge, much better than betting a puny $100 bucks. I wanted to challenge Enam $100K to put the fear of God in him, but I simply don't bet - at least not money. This seems innocuous enough, however.

The problem is, I don't really have that much confidence that Bush is going to win. I think he will. Indeed I am fairly sure of it; but it is really impossible, I think, to stand firmly on his campaign at this point. Still, it is a great idea.

Of course, you ought to be aware that the challenge has a terrible flaw. When Bush wins and so many leftists disappear from the entire SI web site, we will have no one left to laugh at. (grin)

I'd be willing to do the same... no posts for a year if Bush wins. However, I don't believe these windbags could stay away for more than a day or two. Without a soapbox venue from which to spew their bile, they'd slide back into their scum-filled pond of obscurity.

Some people need to feel superior to others to feel happy. It is normally a sign of massive underlying insecurity.
