Drugs are cost-effective. Any action against manufacturers would be recklessly misguided. America owns the world of pharmaceuticals, and this carries some fringe benefits. As for drugs from Canada and Mexico, one gets what one pays for. When I visit either place I make sure to bring along my US meds...I use theirs on an emergency basis though.
