ChinuSFO, Are you warning me that anyone who dares to question Kerry-the-Candidate versus Kerry-the-Record will be banned?

I have not denigrated Kerry's war record; he and his campaign have chosen it as a centerpiece to run on and to ELEVATE it to a level that has provoked criticism from many of his contemporaries (those other swiftboat commanders in the photo used by the Kerry campaign, for example).

Personally, I've always been inclined to simply thank him for his service and move on to his 30-year record since his discharge...which would include his allegations of rampant atrocities by US Servicemen before Congress, publicly throwing away medals which he later admitted weren't his, Kerry's 20-year record in the Senate of voting against virtually every major weapons bill and actually calling for defense cuts, and his current policies and flip-flops on those policies.

Let me know and, just like Kerry, maybe I'll adjust what I say to suit what your thread wants to hear--MK--

Denigrating a veteran's war record, ..is very demoralizing for our troops who are still fighting..

I think denigrating the troops commander in chief when troops are in the field is also demoralizing. As is denouncing the cause the troops are fighting for. And proclaiming their sacrifice is in vain.
