Kerry is ahead in PA by 6-10%. If Bush could win PA he'd knock Kerry out so he spent a ton of time and money there but it looks like Kerry's got that one solid so Bush just wasted a big effort.

Since Kerry will certainly take NH, Bush needs to retain every state he won in 2000 and replace NH with another one, like WISC or IOWA. Good luck. Even though polls show those two as toss-ups, Kerry will likely win both.

Bush also needs to hang onto Florida and several other former red states where he is now tied or behind.

Kerry needs to win all blue states from 2000 plus NH and that's all he needs. He can even lose Florida, Missouri, Arizona, West Virginia and Ohio. Bush has no such luxury.

You see, NH was the real difference in 2000. McCain won it for Bush by going tehre at the last minute for him, even though McCain threw up at the event, no doubt because he felt sick helping Bush, the guy whose people slandered his war record.

Beyond Pittsburgh no one in PA is aware of Teresa Kerry.
Her husband John Heinz was the political luminary...not his wife. The late senator is probably rolling over in his grave now that his widow is spending the Heinz family fortune in order to keep her younger husband happy.
