It's definitely odd. Too odd for me even to speculate about what might be behind it. But there's something lacking there.

The details are always very important in such situations.

Ridge made a comment yesterday that got my attention but no reporters at least not yet. He said that thousands of radiological detectors have recently been emplaced and thousands more are on order.

Finally, you will never read a report that something is being done for force protection. It will just quietly be done and if necessary to say anything it will be called something else.
