The negative publicity amidts the load of alleged screwups in google IPO baffles me. Is that the revenge of some brokers who feel they have been left out in the IPO process or are the promoters of the google IPO outright silly?

A hundred internet or other IPOs went off in the last 6 years without a whim (the only one which really screwed it was Claimsnet which failed to close) but it seems in the google ipo everything went wrong what could go wrong. I'm wondering whether this IPO takes place at all and whether the sheep is willing to pony up that kind of coin to make it happen. I'm not a buyer. I think it will be a good short out of the gate if it hits the market at all.
