These terror alerts won't help Bush at all. He thinks they will but they won't. People want to see action, sure, but they all know it's election season and that these boys have cried wolf many times before. Each successive terror warning will help Bush less and less until they actually start making people uncomfortable with him.

Yes, I think the balance has been tipped in Kerry's favor in recent weeks, though things can and will go back and forth, IMO.
