I've read that Bush was right to announce the latest alert even though the information
goes back four years although as you point out a new entry was made by someone
in England. I heard that computer entry was made last January. I'm sure we will
hear more about it now that someone has been arrested.

What I read was wrong was the way Tom Ridge, the Homeland Security Director,
turned the announcement into a political speech for the Bush re-election effort.

Pat Buchanon says the SwiftVets attacks are going to backfire bigtime. Since there is not truth to them, it's going to make Kerry even more of a hero because he's also the victim of a dishonest smear campaign, along with his buddy McCain, who now stand as the two honest leaders for America set against the most dishonest bunch of rightwingers who have ever tried to take over this country.
