Take a look and see which Administrations put the numbers of men into Vietnam.....Hint...Democrat Presidents Kennedy and Johnson....(numbers went from 900 to 500,000+), and a total Democratic majority in both the House and Senate....

It took a Republican President (Nixon) to get us out of Vietnam.

I posted on SI earlier today a Vietnam War timeline. Kerry was saying the terrible things about his fellow military in 1971..... The war didn't close until 1974, with the last of the American military, and civilians out in 1976.

Kerry could have protested the war, and been FAR more effective had he "suggested" to the Democratic Congress that IF we as a Country were sending our Military to war, the VERY least that should be done is support them in every way.

He did not. And they did not.

Instead, Kerry said what he did to Congress WHILE we were still at war, and we had soldiers fighting and dying....plus our POW's ...
