I find it strange that the so-called Right with its emphasis on small government and liberty does not find it alarming that the government can now legally make a person disappear, does not have to show a warrant for him, can refuse him access to a lawyer, and will not even have to reveal that the person is in their custody, does not have to charge the person with a crime, and can keep him forever. How much scarier can this get? From a legal stand point, I doubt even Augusta Pinochet's regime was this bad.

[edit: the next time you want to compare Osama and Bush, remember that at least Osama would come clean about his doctorines and may not even have resorted to white washing it with laws]
