I think most Americans have forgotten what a real "lefty" is. I spotted one in Arcata, CA. in the town square protesting. He had a sign that read "Property is a Crime!". A VERY lonely voice in the wilderness..

Rightwingers don't just want to do away with SS and Medicare, they and their corporate contributors want to gradually steal all the money. That's what privatization really means. Skimming off public money via profits. Look at how Halliburton privatized a section of the military and pays its people 20 times what a soldier makes who could have done the same job. Then they add a surcharge on top of that and cheat and gouge too.
