The difference with your last reference to electrocution.. firstly I find that a very inhumane form of killing and lethal injection preferred. With regard to the decision on criteria for aborting I agree with you there. However, my dilemma is who makes the decision if it is not a personal one. In an attempt to give the responsibility to everyone to accept that responsibility for ones actions I have difficulty taking that right away because the persons asking might have been those stupid or none caring... I know one thing. A lot of people I know have gone to China recently to adopt. And gay couples are more than willing and not allowed. Maybe an answer would be to open up the adoption criteria. Make it less stringent so that there would not need to be abortions excepting for those you agreed were acceptable. I do not have the answers. But I struggle to think these issues through and your posts help.

This planet is grossly overpopulated and it is an overriding need to avoid increasing the population further. Your views are based on irrational superstition and contribute to the destruction of our ecosystem. They are reprehensible to me. Do you feel that extinction of thousands of animal species is OK as long as african and asian rural people can reproduce freely? That is what we're facing.
