For the sake of getting medals he went into combat repeatedly??? Just suppose he did exaggerate his wounds, does that mean he didn't demonstrate bravery under fire and earn two awards for bravery including saving the life of a crewmen???? What defines a wound eligible for a Purple Heart? Did he not volunteer for combat duty even though he had the option of volunteering not to go into combat??? Did not his chain of command initiate the paperwork for his commendations and provide the evidence for them such that his Silver Star was signed off by an Admiral.....does any of this count with you????
