Questioning Barrett's ethics was a poor choice of words on my part. And I would expect Barrett has a lot of great qualities, business acumen and leadership skills that allowed him to rise to the top job at Intel. But imo Barrett, Jobs, and other CEOs are failing with regard to their fiduciary responsibility to shareholders by seemingly thumbing their noses at shareholder votes to expense stock options. They probably see things differently though. In Barrett's case, not only is he seemingly thumbing his nose at the shareholder vote, but he is going one step further by actively lobbying for a law that is against the majority of his shareholder's wishes.
