G,

Truth barely exists in our justice system, I don't for a minute worry about it existing in our political campaigns. My point of view is different from yours only in that getting stuck in a tar-baby like the swiftvets thing, and your mention of glass jaws and taking a swing, brings to mind another George, this time George Foreman, who got mired near the ropes in the Rumble in the Jungle, trying to punch out Ali who was leading with his "wrong hand" . . . ah yes, the famous rope-a-dope strategy.

The Republicans are in danger of punching themselves to exhaustion on these little snits, laying themselves open to a big haymaker in the 8th round.

The point in an election is never to score more points but to score more votes. It's the end of the 4th round now, how long are the Republicans going to have George stand there trying to swing at a poorly defined target?
