This stuff is supposed to get flushed out in the primaries. Yeah, well, you see how much coverage it's getting now. Not surprising it didn't get "flushed out" sooner. I have trouble seeing how this weighs enough to matter.. It's the undecided who will determine the result of this election. An issue like this could easily tilt sufficient currently undecided towards Bush. That's why it matters and that's why the Dems are not confronting it directly by releasing Kerry's military records. They don't want to debate it at all, because then it'll get more press and people will want to know more about it. The Dems want to shut it down.
