Just re-checked my county website...lo and behold, tax record searching has been improved somewhat, but quality and timeliness of data are still abysmal.

As long as you start with a specific address, you can now progress to getting other properties in the neighborhood.

However, tax records still indicate I've sold my house a couple times since owning it....no distinction in there between refinancing or retitling the house into a revocable trust and simply selling it over and over again. Also the same old misinformation abbout the sewer/gas/general infrastructure of the property. Also no mention of sales on the street, which most definitely have occurred this year and which every current homebuyer and seller would want the most!
Oh well....
