George Bush's big guns are hard line conservatives.

He doesn't need his base shored up..........he needs to convince new voters and independents that he is moderate.

LOL! Kerry is no Dukakis. And Bush Lite is no George H.W. Bush.

Bush Sr. was a WWII hero, vice-president, ambassador, CIA Director - who by the way, after he added "president" and "Gulf War victor" to his resume, lost the next election to a never inhaling, draft-skipping, womanizing hillbilly from Arkansas.
