Then what do you think would happen, under Kerry?

A bunch of tsk, tsking for show. Some outreach and offers of aid with a side of democracy to the poor traumatized Iranian populace. Other than that, it would depend on how the Iranian leadership and the rest of the ME responded, which is a total unknown to me. I couldn't begin to speculate.

<<<Then what do you think would happen, under Kerry?>>>

John Kerry will do pretty much what JFK did when he forced the Soviet Union to get out of Cuba with their nuclear weapons. When our national interests are at stake, John Kerry will take action just as John Kennedy did.

Only this time Kerry will have a much easier task. Iran will not have Soviet Union support. When we detect Iran has or is about to have nuclear weapons, we will present evidence to the world community and there will be NO objections to having Iran get rid of them themselves or we will do it for them.

"We" does not necessarily mean us alone. Nuclear weapons proliferation is not our problem alone. It is a world problem. Whether you like it or not.

We will get rid of Iran's nuclear weapons capabilities without destroying Iran. We will get rid of Iran's nucelar weapons capabilities with full support from the International community - including France, Germany, Russia, and possibly even China. At worst China will abstain.

We will not needlesly waste hundreds of billions of dollars to do so. We will not need to destroy our reputation in doing so. We will not have to rebuild Iran. We will not have to destroy our values. We will not need to torture innocent people. John Kerry or anybody can get the job done in a sensible way. You really don't have to be a rocket scientist to do so.
