I have tended to side with kholt through much of the media bias debate here. She is extremely logical and I know that I (as many do) have a tendency to mix things into my thinking that cloud the actual issue. Sometimes I am reluctant to admit it, but if I am honest, she is usually right about what the bare bones of an issue are. She also is able somehow to do this amazing impersonal thing and seldom does she take offense at even outright insults, a trait I find very impressive around here.

But recently I have been watching CNN, CNBC, and have been pretty surprised at the word choices, the implications, the veiled pressure to see things from a liberal POV. And this is even while keeping my kholt training course in mind.

BTW-- I saw a brief reference at the end of a program yesterday to USA Today spiking a story that was positive for Bush; did you see this?
