Thought I heard that Kerry planned to "help" in FLA, but found this interesting comment on a local message board: >>Kerry says he's not coming to Florida because he'd be a "distraction"....... Kerry is going wind-surfing on the Columbia River tomorrow, much to the dismay, I imagine, of the Secret Service. How in the devil do they follow this yahoo while he's windsurfing??? Kerry had better dump his handlers because the part of Florida that got hit the worst is the area east of the Panhandle. He's misreading the voters in that area. Yeah, the dyed-in-the-wool 'real' Floridians are there...the ones who will vote Republican....but there are a lot of wealthy NE immigrants....NJ, NY, Pa. in Punta Gorda, all around OIrlando, etc. who bring their liberal Dem. ways with them. Unless they're totally brain-dead, they're not going to forget this slap in the face from this arrogant basta_d. And any hope he had of carrying anything north of Palm Beach County is going to go right down the toilet. Kerry had better put away his windsurfing suit and hustle his skinny a_s on down to Florida, real fast! ** for the Dems. who believe nothing unless it comes from CNN or NPR, tune into (choke) Fox and read the streamer. Then be sure and wash your hands with antibacterial soap. Don't worry. You'll be OK. Soap will kill the germs.
