Chino: Thanks for your post. Bush won't drop Cheney. Even if it was a good idea, it still will not happen. The negative political fall-out would be much greater than any gain that might accrue to the Republican ticket.

Caveat: If Cheney suffers a major health-related setback between now and the Repub Convention, then I can see a change. However, this is not likely. So it will be Bush/Cheney taking on Kerry/Edwards in the nationally televised debates and on to and through election day.

But I am glad to see Schwarz and McCain getting in line. They have a political future to think about too, don't you agree?
