F you, LIAR. Kerry is a Silver Star and Bronze Star winner with three Purple Hearts who earned every bit of them the hard way without ego of forethought. This slandering of our war heros has to stop. it's dishonest and dishonorable. It's the same trash they threw at McCain in 2000 and cleland in 2002. i call on all honest Americans to crush these slimemeisters. They're no better than vermin. All 100% lies.

I think you got carried away in your post to American Spirit.

It seems to me, as far as you are concerned, a war hero is one who must have visible scars or who must have been disfigured or who has lost a limb or two.

If, indeed, these are your criteria, you are sadly mistaken.

I know of a number of heroes who came home whole and intact. Folks like the legendary Sergeant Alvin C. York, the hero of Argonne in WWI (1917), for example. And of course the American favourites --- Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett.

And, needless to say, there were many unsung heroes, too. I mean fighters who were unacknowledged for their valour simply because they had no wounds & etc. to show for their action???????????

I personally think too much fuss has been made of Kerry's military decorations. To be sure, desperate Repubniks are exploiting them to the hilt as a red-herring to distract the voting public from far weightier and more fundamental issues, namely, Bush's poor performance in matters concerning the economy, job creation and education.

Repubniks have denounced Kerry as being dishonest. IMHO, Bush was brazenly dishonest too, especially when he said on CNN (Larry King Live) a couple of days ago that the economy is strong, education is going well and unemployment is down & we are safer than ever before & blah blah blah. LOL!

As a third party observer, I don't find American Spirit's posts to be as offensively inaccurate and false as you have found them to be. I suspect that the stuff she presented hit some nerves. Yeah, as always, the truth hurts. But truth, like the surgical scapel also heals, more often than not!

The way you attacked and insulted American Spirit demeaned yourself not a little. It is folks like you that tend to stigmatise other Americans, in the world at large, as "ugly" Americans. Ever read or heard of the book, "The Ugly American"?
