Eight years old or not, you own Nixon, he's your boy .... put you back there today and you'd vote for him, rah-rah his war, right? am i wrong? no of course not, you're true blue button-down semper fi roll-them-tanks all the way

Kerry was exactly precisely right in saying that the war was wrong and stupid .... which is about all i recall of that, a little street theatre to make the point, the VVAW thing and all, which was over quite quickly as some of the others there were just as whacked out as you button-down folk, only different ...... then later Kerry was involved in exposing Reagan with his goons doing the drug smuggling and arms trading and campesino murdering and stuff ..... and that's about it, don't know much detail beyond that .... and getting tired, big day tomorrow, got to rest up

This i know of John Kerry - he never ordered me around, he never tried to bully or bribe my country, he never permitted and/or encouraged sleazeball DC timber lobbies to use the 'Commerce' department to rip off my neighbours ..... so if you wanna talk atrocities, amigo, your Nixon du jour is at least three big counts behind already

What is disturbing is Kerry's attempt to paint himself as a hero for fighting in the Vietnam war - a war that Kerry knew, or should have known, was a mistake. What is heroic about killing people for no reason?
