thecow,

I recently ran a Spybot scan of my computer. It came up with a few files which I got rid of. However, it was unable to get rid of a file called "vbouncer". Said it was being used and suggested I run Spybot at startup. I did this and this failed because a warning said I didn't have enough memory. I have 512 MEGs on machine. Where do I go from here to get rid of this pesky file?

TIA.

jon

here's what I did
Message 20419658

my notepad.exe is under C:\WINDOWS

I looked and yes, it is under C:\WINDOWS\system32 too [I opened it and it is clean too]

so now I don't know where the corrupted one [and is it corrupted? or for some reason just opening up with registry editor on it?] is

[I'm a little afraid to delete it even if I do find it]

but at least now, I have one notepad that works

and I'm happy
