Russ, the NIRB outlines their main concerns in the report as being:

<• the assessment of potential adverse impacts on wildlife, and related mitigation and monitoring, • the Tail Lake water quality and water management strategy, and • the consideration of alternatives to the use of Tail Lake, • the jetty design, and • deficiencies in the socio-economic impact assessment,>

Aren't these concerns typical for most mining communities before a mine is constructed? I would assume that there will always be a negative impact on the environment however minor when building a mine. Do you think it's a case of MNG not doing their homework? I do get the sense that the NIRB are
sincere in their concerns yet at the same time want this mine built.
