How about we just tattoo everybody's wrist?

I used to use that response. But I have got older and wiser. 911 changed that for me.

If we tattooed everybody's wrist, that would be very different from what the Nazis did to Jews -- they singled out only Jews for the tattoos.

I don't much care for tattoos, and in fact find them offensive, even when the subject is a pretty girl or a handsome boy who wears an ugly tattoo for misapplied aesthetic purposes. Far, far uglier than pierced tongues or pierced navels, JMHO.

My guess is that brain waves are as individual as fingerprints, so brain scans could be used to identify us much as fingerprints are now used. Offensive? I think probably not.
