Elsewhere on SI, I recently made the following comment: <<I will go a bit further in saying that my bullish stance on small-cap security issues is beginning to wane. The federal government is going to post yet another record budget deficit for fiscal 2004, and these companies might end up getting the short end of the stick. Long sought after contracts, the receipt of which has been built into share prices, may either not come to fruition, or worse yet... may go unpaid.>> I think it would be wise for those whom are still bullish on defense stocks to consider the above possibility. At the very least it should raise your standards regarding the selection of companies within this arena.
