Why would his leaving have scared the children? When I was a kid people used to enter and leave our classrooms all the time, I can't remember it ever inducing a panic. Are kids different these days? Do they all have a phobia about people excusing themselves and leaving the classroom? Because of George The Scumbag's absence, Cheney The Coward had to assume the role of president and give the shootdown order.

Apparently, you actually NEED the split screen view, of the towers burning, people leaping to their deaths, the second plane slamming into the south tower, all of which the President was aware, while he sat there and pretended to read along with "The Pet Goat"! If that's a strong Republican leader, I'll take a communist! He was waiting for instructions from his handlers.

No thinking American could really comprehend what was unfolding before our eyes. The ill-informed or wishful thinking Left can believe whatever their little brains want to believe ... most Americans know we were all stunned. What the Left doesn't want to talk about is that once we knew the first plane hit the building and thought it was a terrible accident...we watched that for awhile, then the 2nd plane hit and we knew....Bush didn't have TV in the room where he was. He sure as heck didn't have his plane outside the classroom door. The Secret Service weren't sure what else was under attack. He was secure where he was for the few minutes. The plane hadn't gone into the Pentagon yet. The plane heading for the Capitol or the White House hadn't gone down in PA yet. And Kerry was in the Capitol at the time, and evidently saw the Pentagon hit (??TV??) He said he was stunned, and couldn't think for 40 minutes. Think Nancy Pelosi was with him in the same room, plus a third party. The Left doesn't use enough reasoning power God gave a goose, as our Grandmothers used to say.
