Hi SP,

Like it or not, a spouse's money falls under the umbrella of public concern when it comes to national politics. And with Heinz Kerry's billions (3.2, I believe)and her very active hand in managing the trusts and charities associated with it, I think it behooves her to let the public know that she is *not* helping finance her husband's campaign, for instance.

That would certainly put an end to a great deal of tawdry innuendo, IMO.

FWIW, I have the utmost confidence in Heinz Kerry's management skills and honesty. She has nothing to hide whatsoever.

Sioux, when a polecat is cornered and looking for a diversion he lashes out at anything. For those that are now attacking Kerry's wife and her wealth are just a little lost when it comes to the history of our presidents and this issue of a president marrying a very rich wife. Just a little history lesson for those frailing away at this red herring issue....and it isn't George W. Bush that I mention. Rather, we had another president by the name of George Washington (GW) and he seemed to have turned out to be a fairly respected president...even though George didn't have a pot to pee in before he married one Martha D. Custis whose husband died leaving her at the time an estate that would parallel Mrs. Heinz's.
Ask them for a nexus for this issue...and don't hold your breath until you get a logical reason for the cat cornered.
