I think we can agree on this matter. The U.S. could either give that money back to the taxpayers via a tax cut (something I think most Libertarians would favor) or could reinvest the money in American infrastructure programs (something I would personally favor as we've suffered from a lack of investment).

We've been giving way too much of OUR money away to other countries, and I agree it doesn't matter who it is we give the money to. $40 Billion to Israel over the past decade?!? While the MTA struggles to find money that could benefit people in the New York region in their everyday lives like the 2nd Ave Subway, 7 Extension, East Side Access, Access to the Regions Core (a new train tunnel from New Jersey). $40 B could go a long way to making the New York area a better place to live, and put Americans to work too.
