No excuse needed: All Kerry needs to say is that he's so "offended" by people "trashing my war record" that he "just can't go on." Voila! Instant VICTIMHOOD, and the anti-American left EATS IT UP! As for the "establishment" media, they are acting like the LA Times when they were working so HARD to put a stop to the public revolt against Gray Davis. The public will look at their coverage as the OFFICIAL DISTORTION, and that will get them that much more interested in O'Neil's book. The left wing media just doesn't GET THIS YET. After the Torricelli Maneuver, the Dems will go crawling to Bill and Satan (The condition: It will be Clinton/Edwards, not the other way around.) They will set up the old War Room and get the propaganda straightened out. From there on it will have to be a straight fight. Bill never DID get a majority of the vote (Even against Bob Dole!), and Satan will get clobbered too. But given the chaos, she will still be the front-runner for 2008, IF there's a Democrat party left...
