I was trying a case in federal court at the same time as one of the cases against the "paint ball terrorists." The court clerks and bailiffs were all agog that the Muslims were washing their hands AND feet in the sinks before prayers! The alternative, to wash in the toilet, was unthinkable, so they simply had to tolerate it as a lesson in cultural sensitivity.

I found myself able to avoid the restrooms altogether.
