Yeah that was a pretty good post. Didn't have time to delve in to it when it arrived.

But he really worked himself into a frenzy with those calculations of health care costs. I mentioned that the premiums went up annually and on a couple of years they really did double. But at the same time we adjusted our deductable upward too which offset the increase in premiums...but still means you need to take a second mortgage to pay the deductable...so might as well take out second mortgage and treat it as reverse health insurance. For one emergency room trip we were able to make a payment plan directly with the hospital. That one was still cheaper than insurance.

So we do pay our medical bills. We'd like to see the cost of insurance reduced though. Why does everyone in the health care business need two boats and three sports cars? So that we can go month to month to make the payments for them?

Wouldn't one boat and one sports car be enough?
