<You could call me a 9/11 Republican.>

That's ridiculous.

< I am a DNC Democrat without a party at this moment.>

You're telling us that you believe in the fundamental principles of the Democratic Party, yet you support the way the Republican Party has responded to the 9/11 tragedy?

What principles of the Democratic Party do you support? Please try to be specific.

Cheney and his pathetic front man, Bush, have turned the Republican Party into a militaristic party with no interest in civil liberties. The Republican Party's response to 9/11 has been a grotesque overreaction and, in fact, an overreaction directed at the wrong enemy.

The only way the current militaristic Republican Party resembles the Democratic Party of old is that it believes in spending without taxing. At least the Democratic Party of old engaged in fair taxation.

Do you really think Al Gore would have failed to go after Osama in Afghanistan? No way. The nation absolutely demanded a swift response there after the attack on the Twin Towers. Gore would have done as Bush did for sure. The difference is, though, that he would have tried to finish the job and not have gotten insanely distracted by Iraq.

Do you think Shrub has really done all he could have done here in the U.S. to protect us? I think Gore would have done a better job here domestically too.

Quite simply, Bush has butchered the "war on terror."
