"My point here has been that war is hell. That war will make people do things they ordinarily would not do."

It is very true and those who fought and saw the death, demoralization of human life do not like to even talk about
it. The issues that should be discussed are not being addressed in this campaign.

When we give them a gun and give them the authority to kill, and make decisions that effect life and death - bad things could happen.

You are right.

But that is not the Vets issue with Kerry. Though Kerry would like for you to think that and that is why he paraded Rood out yesterday to discuss the SS. Kerry tried to put a good face on something that everyone is already willing to let him have.

The real issues for the Swiftees remain Honor and Integrity.
Kerry has admitted he breeched integrity by lying about Cambodia.
He breeched honor and integrity with his wintersoldier testimony.

That is the most salient point of the second ad.
It is a clear indictment of Kerry for both lying and dishonoring his men, his unit, his service and the US Military.

And that indictment of Kerry...done by his own words, is what has him screaming fitfully now. Kerry's biggest problem is not the Swiftees. His biggest problem is his own history.

<<"My point here has been that war is hell.">> The 1st clue to Kerry being a liar is just talking about the war to people who have no clue, even senators. Few combat vets talk about it at all except possibly to other combat vets. You had to be there to understand it,,,, and Kerry STILL does not understand it. He was / is just a punk wannabe!

It's not because you're "nobody" that you won't change my mind -- maybe it's because I've got a 19 year old at present in my own house. He's making "A"s in math classes that are so difficult that his father, an engineer, can't help him study anymore, but I still have to wash his clothes and make sure he eats right.

If someone handed him a gun and sent him off into a jungle, he would not make the right decisions at all times, but he wouldn't rape babies, either.

The kids these days play games where they have to decide what side they're on, lawful or unlawful, good or evil. He likes to play chaotic good. (Sometimes lawful good, which is my preference.)

They know people who like to play chaotic evil. Those are the ones I worry about.
